This month we're back in Scotland where we visit the National Gallery in Edinburgh to look at the paintings there and learn more about them. There is also an interesting virtual tour of the art works by Scottish artists in an Edinburgh auction house, Lyon and Turnbull. We then go to Glasgow, to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, to watch Avril Paton talking about her tenement painting, 'Windows in the West'.

A virtual Tour of paintings, by Scottish artists, goes on display in a Scottish auction house.
Last July, the auction house, Lyon and Turnbull in Edinburgh, offered a virtual tour of the beautiful art works they had in their possession. You can go round
their collection and look closely at each picture.

Here is a very interesting talk by Avril Paton, painter of the famous tenement painting, 'Windows in the West'. Here she explains why she chose this tenement to paint, tells us about the characters in the windows and gives us a background to the painting.
